Horse Racing Tips for 21 August 2021

Eagle Farm Race 1 – 1835m – Class 6

1. Stardome: Winner in much better grade three back at Doomben over 2200m. Back to 1600 last start ran a -9.6 PF data rating. Three and Four back ran around the -6.0 PF data rating mark. Final 200m of 12.38 over the 1600m on a Soft 7 was eye-catching. If stalks the favourite can run past it.

3. Dick Whittington: Terrible first up over the 1500m when last at Randwick. 2000+ looks best distance. 1800m should be okay but still needs much further. Best run last prep was over 2500m. Surprise if wins here.
4. Nyami: Won two in a row then failed to do anything last three starts. Hasn’t broken -1 on the PF data until last start when 9th of 10 at Randwick. Have to take him on.
5. Champagne Aunty: Won two in a row and keeps going from strength to strength. Runs averaged between -3.9 and -8.5 last 6 runs so consistently solid runs. The one to beat obviously.
6. Wild Moon: Hasn’t gone close to breaking the PF 0.0 mark on recent runs. Won a BM-66 at Tamworth two back. Massive step up here.
7. Flensburg: Class 1 winner last start at Eagle Farm. -1.3 PF data best on record recently. Struggle to suggest.

Speed Map
Champagne Aunty is expected to lead. Stardome should from barrier 6 attempt to sit OSL or with a sit. Not many other horses with speed in the race.

Comments: Only two real chances here and strongly feel Stardome has the ability to knock the favourite off here. Average PF data run expected for this is -1.5. I’d expect -5.0 minimum today.

Randwick Race 2 – 2400m – BM78

1. Spencer: On speed type. Hasn’t broken -1.0 PF data all prep long. This is his level at this distance but he always rates a step below for mine and is best when its super wet.
2. Shuffle Up: Huge run and win last start beating him Terwilliker over the 2400m. Maps midfield from a good barrier today. Loves it whne speed is on. Will be tough through the line final 400m.
3. Master Shuhood: Hasn’t gone close to very best the past two preps but consistent type ranging up to -4.0 PF data rating run. Needs to find more even on a decent last start run. Can win.
4. Montabot: Best runs back in france have been at this distance range. Wants softer than S5 given last start jock said. Wont get that.
5. Torrens: Ran okay two back at Randwick when ran a -3.6 PF data run and then everything outside of that, outside of a 2200m win at Eagle Farm last prep is below par. Has some ability – can’t suggest.
6. Accountability: Blinkers on and up to 2400m. Last prep looked a good type with a -8.1 PF data run on record. Last four runs no better than +4.3. Needs a miracle to turn around. Blinkers could be it?
7. Red Santa: Consisent type having ran -8.2 -7.1 and -5.9 PF data last three runs. Up to 2400m only query. Will sit on speed just off the leaders.
8. Mr Bond: Won two in a row at 2000+ but big jump in class here. Last two runs +5.7 and +9.4 PF data ratings. Massive take on based on times.
9. Terwilliker: Every chance last start at Randwick when fairly beaten by Harpo Marx and run prior over 2400m just couldn’t see out the final 200m with Shuffle Up going straight past. Respect ability and go well from barrier out front.
10. Apache Belle: Not bad two back behind SHuffle Up and won last start in easier grade over 2900m at Newcastle. Big task for this mare.

Comments: Super confident this is a race in two with Red Santa and Shuffle Up. Can back both here at $1.83 to win and i’m keen to bet up at that price.
